How very arrogant

It amazes me that even when our great meteorologists are incapable of predicting with any accuracy whether it will rain tomorrow, there is still a willingness to take action they believe will change the environment many years into the future. Even though they have no idea of the consequences of the actions they want to move forward with urgency and at great expense to make changes with no assurance of the outcome.

Remember last year when it was predicted that it would be a devastating hurricane season? Well, it turned out not to be the case. Same prediction this year. Maybe it will be a bad hurricane season and maybe it won't. We will see, but I could have made the same prediction (guess).

And don't forget our Czar of Arrogance, the Tennessee tornado, Al Gore. With his inconvenient book and his "do as I say not as I do" attitude, he has risen to the spokesperson for global warming. He knows what's best for us and our money.

The earth has always made adjustments and always will. The arrogance to assume that man is capable of knowing anything with absolute certainty is astounding. Chill out my friends.

Are you ashamed?

Some of you seem to be ashamed to be an American. You have life too easy. You have too much and the rest of the world doesn't have enough. You turn on the tap and water comes out both hot and cold. You even have water pressure that lets you take a shower without having to run around trying to find the drops. You feel sorry for the fanatics that want to kill us. You find justification in how you think they feel. Truth is you don't have a clue and never will.

Immagration yes, illegal immagration no!

The new immigration bill is unfair to those immigrants who have come to this country legally and to those who are waiting to immigrate to this country in a legal manner. We must enforce the current laws and not grant rights to those who have illegally crossed our borders. No social services. No free health care. No education. No drivers licenses. No preferential treatment to illegals. English is the language of this country, learn the language. Secure the borders of this country.

This country wants and needs immigrants. It needs legal immigrants who want to be law abiding, learn the language and customs of America, are disease free, are educated in the fields and skills we need for the country to prosper and who want to be Americans. We all have backgrounds that we are proud of and lands that we or our forefathers came from but we are now Americans first. Come here legally and be an American.

Imus off the air. Opie and Anthony off the air. Gee, thanks for looking out for us and making sure we are protected from anything you find offensive. I guess I couldn't possibly look out for myself and turn off the radio. Bad taste? Offensive? Disgusting? Politically incorrect? I think that all the above would apply. Click.
