Naive disappointment

Being disappointed yet again by our federal government would be funny if it weren't so pitifully sad. Our representatives continue to follow a path of arrogance, elitism, secrecy, obfuscation and downright dishonesty and corruption. While dragging the American citizenry down a financial rabbit hole into unemployment, poverty and financial ruin our congressmen, senators and other government officials point fingers at each other and anyone but themselves. They continue to show no ability to repair the financial problems that they, in part, have created. Incompetence would be a minor flaw compared to the obvious collusion and self serving behavior we have observed in congress. Making deals that are bettering the lives of our politicians while destroying the security of its citizens is untenable. Diogenes would have no luck in his search for an honest man if he was looking at Washington politicians...
